Earlier this year, I announced that I would be working on a new aerial film featuring landscapes and landmarks of Saskatchewan. While the film is due out this fall, I am pleased to finally be able to put a name to this project.
Saskatchewan: From the Living Skies refers to the fact that every shot in this film is taken from the air by drone. Of course, the term "Living Skies" is derived from the famous Saskatchewan tagline of "The Land of Living Skies". I chose this name because I think it conveys the two main aspects of this project: Saskatchewan sights, and aerial cinematography.
The photography of the project is still an ongoing process, and editing has commenced. I hope you will stay tuned for more updates and teasers as this project enters what will likely be its last month or so of work. I look forward to sharing the finished product with you all soon.
